Ok, last night, ran a scene for the first time. I ran one a few years ago, but it was a different genre than this and it feels like forever since I've run any type of game. It went really well, all told. Actually, exceptionally so. My character was in the scene, but out of the spotlight, and the two other heroes involved just blew me away. I went to sleep smiling, I think. Had wierd dreams, anyway. But, this is also helping me prepare for some possible 'I'll run something' ideas I've had on multiple fronts. If I get any of them approved, I think I can make things interesting.
Tonight is the power-mad 3rd ed game I was speaking of last week, with the intelligent sword and a new character of mine. You know...I want him to try and force ther sword on my character. I want him to do /something/ because I don't really like the game, and would rather join something new and not-stale, with some of the players in that game. New GM, of course.
As for now, it's too damn cold. It was 8 this morning. 8. 8!!!!
