Home again.

Ok. I went bowling. It was okay: free pizza, three games of bowling, and I remember how to bowl for the most part. Greg's friends are nice, pleasant, and generally funny.

Of course, I was the youngest person in the building by about...oh, nine years.

In some way, it's what I've always seen of the gay community around me: I'm always the Kid, the young person, the Child. It's why I stopped going out in the first place.

But, I did learn a few things today:

1) When your hairstylist asks you "what will you have" and you give her a sad, forlorn look and say 'Help' they become /really/ nice. I have one of those Ceasar haircuts, albeit short, but it did wonders for the confidence because I didn't recognize myself when I saw myself afterwards.

2) The nice employees at Eddie Bauer, when you tell them you have to be somewhere in 25 minutes, will let you change clothes in their dressing rooms if you buy stuff from them.

You know...I really looked cool tonight. Between the new clothes (kakhis, black T-shirt, and blue-tan plaid overshirt, unbuttoned), the haircut, and the fact that my contacts came in and there's no irritation since they're not wearing them at work, I actually felt...hot.

Also, got my car inspected this morning, and it passed, and while I'm driving home, I have someone [ull up and tell me my right taillight is out. Damn. Ok. Next week.

And, got my taxes done. Let's make this explination simple: Ka-CHING!

As for the bowling thing, I'm sorry, guys. I don't have some grand, wild tale to relate to you all about it, unlike my stories. Not tonight. Maybe another day, I dunno.
