Long weekend ahead.

Ok, for the first, my family went to the doctor's on Tuesday, about my grandmother. What we found out was that she has cancer in her lung, liver, and bone. Right now, they're saying she has months, maybe a year.

And still, I have no idea what I can do other than make sure she's comfortable. She can still get around, albeit slowly, and she's not an invalid. I've been trying to think of ways to prepare, but even then I think that's a little mean on my part.

And work...well, our system was down from 9 AM to about 20 minutes to 4 yesterday, so we got way backed up, and we were down til 11 this morning, from 9 AM, and we got so hosed. :P

The first thing you'll have to do is come to terms with the fact that there is, in fact, nothing you can do. Once you get over that, you're good. Spend time with her, tell her how you feel, smile and laugh. That's how you'll want to remember it all. I've been through this sort of thing before so, y'know, if you need me buddy, I'm here.
