Okay. The building manager decided to throw some outside barbecue today. So yay, free food, not so yay, waiting outside in 94 degree humidity waiting for the burgers to cook. So, I will take my lunch a little late, because I've already eaten, and let's face it, these plebes I work with can use the help. Slightly reflective at the moment, mostly because I can mentally see that other shoe right above my head.
The system at work is back up, and we've pretty much bounced back volume-wise. But With the heat, I think it's going to be one of those days where the 3-hour second part of my work day is going to feel like six hours, instead.

Just teasing. Heat and eating just don't mesh for me. I get an upset stomach, then lethargy and torpor rule the day.

In fact...hot days are generally No Fun(tm) for me.
