Okay. The adventuring party in tonight's tabletop game went up against something much more powerful. Basic gist, we got creamed, and the Saturday game which has been running for almost 3 years is officially over.

And I'm okay with it. I think it was time. Our last few games were tense, and we do not need the 'tense.'

Besides, we're starting a new game at the end of the summer, and the GM might go with Eberron. :)

Well, that's probably a good thing. And the Magneto Morrison wrote about was an imposter. Good times all around. Though I don't get Callisto in anything. Her mutant power is she sees advantages towards winning fights? That's it? How come Storm always beats her in hand-to-hand combat then?

I wonder...if she encounters someone mega-powerful, like say Thor or Thanos or someone, does her mutant power say "RUN LIKE FUCK!!!"

As it was, I would have preferred the following scene in Excalibur #2.

Callisto: My knives are ceramic!

Magneto: My house is made of scrap metal!

Callisto: Gotta dash!

Because I think TentaCallisto's power is to decide tactics. Sometimes, tactics fail, or Storm is just that badass. :) Also, I can see Callisto on Genosha. It's classic Claremont. The three views of Mutant direction from the 80s with regard to humanity.

Chuck: Integration.
Magneto: Dominion.
Callisto: Isolation.

Back in the day, each of them were the 'leaders' of their respective outlooks. I think this will come into play in the book.

And Morrison's Magneto was an imposter. Well, DUH! ;)

Storm has boobs. Claremont's characters with boobs are that badass. So, yes, she's that badass. So's the Blob!

Besides which, having the Morrison Mags be an imposter is now official. That should make you happy. Or not. I'm still unimpressed with Astonishing X-Men, though.
