Bloody irritating.
I'm on lunch. Never been so happy to be here in my life so far. See, the server our data entry is on at my job today went FUBAR. Not completely down, which would make a lot of things and calls easier, but it's slow. We're in that 'we have to press 'enter' twice for the System to recognize we did something' phase. COuple that with the glacial pace the server is setting, and this is just a nightmare. I have about 45 minutes left, so I'm here to vent.
Though, let me try some positive things: Garou? Almost retired. :) As for the rest, I set that scene I needed to do for Wednesday, which is enough time for most people to at least have some good advance warning of the impending fight scene. SOmeone on staff thanked me for setting it up, for it was one less thing they had to do. Go me!
And, with the little scheme I was adding into the fight scene, to fix other IC/OOC problems...well, it looks like things were handled without needing the Fight scene for it, and people TALKED to each other and RESOLVED things without my assisted scheming and plotting. WIthout the scheming and plotting? JP, Cal, you two are /no/ fun. ;)
And...darn. Iceraver came up with a potential character concept last night for my usual MU*. And he made an offer to play the character's best friend. Best Friend, not his SO. Trust me, it's /so/ not an SO thing. But, it would be for an FC, and one I could play correctly with my hands tied behind my back. Here I am trying to keep a lid on the number of characters I play (even if I'm currently at one, overall), and I keep getting ideas planted on my head. But it's so Cool...it would be really cool. I'd be really good at this...darnit. Raver, keep doing this, and you're going to completely corrupt me.
