Article link here, comics, non-spoilers, G-rated and whatnot.

I don't care.

I don't bloody care if some things are geared towards younger readers.

It's.../that/ book. It's important. It's the first Marvel comic I seriously collected, back when I was 10...and it has been a long, long time. I will buy it anyway. If it makes me sound weak, I don't care.

You were 10 then, right? Shouldn't Marvel aim for more 10-year-olds?

Well, both of the big 2 comic companies seem to have comic lines geared toward pre-teen readers. Makes sense a bit, considering the 'brand name' of it from other media and merchandising.

Well, unlike you, I didn't know jack about the Power Pack until I was college-aged, and quite frankly the Uncanny X-Men issue in the last "Essnetials" guest starring the Powers kids made me mildly disturbed that such young children would put their lives on the line and stuff like that there. As such, it's probably more suited towards a juvenile audience, so long as Alex Powers can maybe do a New Warriors guest shot once in a while.

Well, if we can keep Alex well away from whatever New Warriors series is coming next, I can be relatively grateful.

As for the kids with powers thing...heck, I dunno. The original series was pretty cool, and while Louise Simonson has a stigma with stuff like the original New Mutants series, the Power Pack stuff was definitely better.
