On the list:

Currently reading: Peter David's 'Sir Apropos of Nothing'

It's a pretty cool book. I like David's style already, from comic books like Young Justice, and there's a lot of ironic and punny humor in it that I think is pretty neat.

Currently Doing: Reading. (Duh.) Resting a little, because I got to bed late last night due to RPing again, and I ended up having one of those nightmares that I don't remember but ends up really screwing with my head. So, at this point, I'm doing every chore I can to make sure I stay awake. Need to really realign my sleep schedules, when I can.

Ah-hah! Me too! So tell me, don't you picture Methos as the main character? I'm so hearing Peter Wingfield's voice as I read this book.

It's an interesting book. We can compare notes when we're done :) I'm on page 422.

I'm somewhere in the 300's. I read that fast. But, I'm not sure I'm familiar with who this Methos is...

Methos is one of the greatest Highlander: The Series characters ever. Also, rumored to be the oldest.

Didn't I tell you to read that book a year ago?! ;) The second one's out, and I read the first chapter in the store. God, it's AWFUL--ly good. I mean it's great, but... just... oh my GOD. Peter David loves puns and black humour.

The first chapter summarizes and spoofs the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. (Not too detailed though, so don't fear too many spoilers.) ...Except it could well be the porno-version, "Lord of the C***-ring".

Disgustingly hillarious.

I suspect there's also a few Braveheart jokes in there as well; the title is The Woad to Wuin.

Why yes, yes you did. But, the reason I waited was because it was in hardcover at the time. :) It's in paperback now, so mm, reading bliss.

Besides, I also got Bourne Identity on your recommendation, so don't think I don't listen. ;)
