Relentless.

It doesn't stop. Not even for a second.

I got my blood test results back the other day. My cholesterol levels are high, so I'm going to have to change a lot about what I eat, and they want me to go for an 8-hour gluecose tolerance test Thursday. And diabetes is in my family. And I can't physically stomach salad.

And, I get home tonight.

See, we rent the house whwere we live, my folks and I. We've been doign so for close to three years. TOnight, I just found out that the owner of the house we pay rent on is going to sell it. So, eventually, we have to move again.

I...give up. I don't wanna do this anymore. Nothing.

Poor thing... I hate that it has to happen, but we all go through it from time to time, unless we're home-owners, which I won't be until something happens to my gramma. *hugs* Well, you'd always have a home with me, luv.

Like I told you online the other day, diabetes doesn't mean eating salad for the rest of your life. People that tell you that are just operating off old information or pure misinformation. IF you have it, you'll have Adult Onset, which is easier to treat in many ways and can even go away depending on the severity and how well you stick to your diet. Yes, especially with a high enough cholestrol count to cause problems, you will have to change how you eat.

Another suggestion, dude? Get a second opinion? I don't know your doctor or how well you trust him, but he could just be nuts, too. If you are diagnosed with diabetes, have him give you a referral to a diabetes specialist.
