Oh, I'm getting overtime. But I've been up since 4:30 this morning (The dog needed to be fed nownownownownow! and I couldn't go back to sleep.) And I wanted to be online tonight, but I feel like I'm going to be piled on the moment I walk through the door.
How big is the dog? Is he one of the neurotic sorts that will literally eat himself to death if left with plentiful food? If not, go to a pet supermart and get one of these things http://www.petco.com/product/9351/Petmate-Le-Bistro-Feeders.aspx -- they make a similar thing for water, too. Fill it up, put it in the laundry room or whatever, and let him go eat when he feels like it.
