For kicks.
Okay, last week one of the guys I game with talked about how online-talking to people isn't real communication as opposed to actual RL face-time with people. I ignored it, let another one of my gamer friends argue it out.
What I should have done was sent an email back, saying the following:
Actual face-time? Cool. Okay. To all the adults in this game: I want to do something this New Year's Eve, adult-like. Get out of the house, and get off online for a night for some actual face-time. What can we do?
Of course, I would have gotten one huge steaming pile of excuses, which would have proved my point. Why bother getting face-time from RL people who are gonna dick me around when I can talk to folks online who take me seriously.
I mean, duh.
