Mar. 12th, 2003 09:05 am*yawn* Good morning. One, I think I'm figuring out after long last that even if I wake up 15 minutes later than I normally do, I still get to work at a decent time, and I might look into setting my alarm ahead tonight, after I get home. Of course, going to bed at a decent hour would help, but hey, we can't have everything. :)
One of the reasons. I've been running a plot on a MUSH I play on. A mystery, and the players involved are really into it. Thus far, things are going a long almost as I had thought of how they would go in my mind, even with
iceraver throwing me some wicked-ass curveballs in the last few days. But I've been finding that ending up in a situation I didn't really expect has been enhancing it for me, so the curveballs aren't a bad thing. Why does it enhance it so, for me. Been trying to think about that. Just...can't really explain it, but it makes it cooler, and I think it personalizes the plot for the players.
Though...eventually (and soon, if the rate of scenage goes at the current pace it's moving), the plot will be resolved. Not that the group has nothing after that, but I've been considering the resolution I had for it. Current goal: Try to resolve the plot in a way that leaves possibilities open for later, but not make the players feel cheated. Still working on it. :P
Other net stuff: Gaming Guardians, I think, is about to hit on a dangling plotline/grudge match that I have been really, really looking forward to seeing. Today's strip (3/12/03) had me on the edge of my seat, ringside, wishing I had popcorn and a beer.
No, that isn't right. I'm not a big fan of popcorn...
