Okay. Thanks to lithera's LJ, I am reminded X-Men Evolution comes back today, so I just finished setting the VCR up for it. And hey, I'm not doing much, so I might go to that M&M demo that Chris is running at 11. Course, that means I need to go clean up and get ready now. WIll be home later.

Okay, I went. Usually I keep to myself on the weekends, but I went out to Chris' Mutants and Masterminds demo...and had a blast. It reminds me why I won't game with kids again, because they're fools, but I went through a few fights, made an original character, and the system MAKES SENSE now. I can read it a hubndred times, but I learn a lot faster is I actually play it.

My character was Turbulence, am wind manipulator. COncussive wind blasts, flight, and I added Telescopic Sense (Hearing) to the power as an extra, so he could hear convoersations across a room. I credit iceraver for it. Sure, there's a new mutant character who could do the same wind-sound trick, but he did it first, in my mind. :)

But, it was a positive experience, and I'm happy I went. I have some more character ideas now.
