Did a little color polishing of the Lyle sprite before work, just to get something done. :)

Would that I could have found the itch to get more done today. WOrk wasn't all that busy, but I found my mind wandering a lot more than it usually is. I once described the inside of my head as 'channel-surfing, 24-7'. Or, that there's always something there: an image, a refrain of a song, or...hell, I dunno. Somehow, I'm still able to concentrate, but I thought that was normal. I think I'm wrong...

I almost snapped at a parental unit last night. See, it's when folks start off a sentence with 'Kyle, don't get mad...' or 'I don't want to upset you...'

My response: Then don't. I you don't want to upset me or whatever, then don't do or say things that you know are going to do just that. It really is that easy.

Personal Rule #...heck, it might be #1. All things are easy. It's people that complicate them way beyond what things should be.

Okay, humor me for a sec here. Just picked up Disgaea yesterday, and it's fun. I like this kind of game, and the characters amuse me. But, early in, like in Chapter 1, is there any sure-fire way to accumulate cash for the army?

It's been going like this since I started: run through a bunch of the boards, where characters get hurt and whatnot. COme back to the Infirmary, heal my characters, and end up spending most of my cash. Any ideas, because I keep ending up back where I started?

Thanks.
