Aug. 2nd, 2007 02:58 pmWell, today was the mid-year review at work (Yes, I know it's already August. I don't plan these things.) To my surprise, I'm sort of...tops in my department, with call volume and such. Now, I'm not sure if my high marks across the board are because I'm really good at my job, or because everyone else here completely sucks at their job. I think the answer might be a little of both. No one's been sent home crying yet, so I guess I should be happy. Even if some of them wildly deserve it. I mean really, really deserve it.
Still, while it has picked my day up a bit, it doesn't stop me from wanting with humanity with a sack of sweet Valencia oranges. And I need to think of something for myself for dinner, besides. This will take some time, and a lot of food tastes routine lately. Mostly because it's 'take out, again?'
Otherwise, I plan on laundry and floor-cleaning tonight, just to get it done before the weekend.
