dewingedI'm feeling a little relaxed, despite having work tomorrow. Sadly, they fired Gloria on Friday. What gets me is that she was a space-cadet, but she also did the work. So, I have this feeling I'm going to be picking up a lot of slack this week, which is going to leave me little time to have a stray thought.
I will miss her. She was fun to talk to, unlike most of the people I work with. She left me her 'You might be a redneck'-a-day calendar. Which is gonna feel awkward tomorrow morning.
Gaming Friday was okay, despite leaving work a half-hour late. Decent Champions game, was getting a little sleepy towards the end. Ended up doing a crapload of things on Saturday, and finding myself tired at 1 AM, so I feel like I have rested some.
Had a dream last night, driving in a car and with people who changed in the passenger seat. I mean, it was one person one time I looked, someone else another. People I haven't seen since college, at least one before. I woke up, despite being rested, feeling awkward. It was so long ago, but it seemed really familiar, too. I hear songs on tyhe radio, remembering times at college, and I almost want to wish for one more night. Just one, to fix all my mistakes and say the things I never could. Just one...fuck, I think I'm deranged, sometimes.
