Okay. Work. Not bad. Weather might clear up before I have to go, so that's cool. Will be picking up dinner, as well.

SHrek 2 looks cool, and I like the story outline.

Saw an ad for a live-action Garfield movie in June. Bill Murray as the cat's voice. Now, I like Bill, but Garfield will always be Lorenzo Music, who did his voice for the cartoon. I'm...nostalgic? Weird.

Besides, I doubt the movie will have any Kung Fu Creatures on the Rampage...2. If it did, I'd be highly impressed.

Not a bad day. Nothing an attack by cheese ninjas couldn't fix.

Yes, but a live-action Garfield movie. It doesn't matter who does the voice; this is one of the signs of the apocalypse. Heck, I'm already getting boils.

I agree, but unfortunately they have not perfected the time traveling or cloning technology that would have made it possible for the late Yul Brynner to have played Professor X [so we got Patrick Stewart, not a bad second choice], or the late Lorenzo Music to have done the voice of Garfield [and I'm sure Bill Murray is not a bad choice there].

But the minute they do get that technology down, I am so rushing to see Yul Brynner in something.

I'm not very thrilled about the live-action Garfield movie for several reasons, not the least of which is that hearing Bill Murray instead of the late Lorenzo Music would be too jarring for me. Garfield, to me, just doesn't translate well to live action.

I think the choice of voice is fitting, if you think about it. Since Lorenzo is dead, and all. Lorenzo did the voice of Peter Venkman in the Ghost Busters cartoon, and that for me made the choice worthwhile. Don't get me wrong, though, I have absolute faith that this movie will suck. And Catwoman will suck. And...well, a lot of the movies coming out will suck. A lot.
