Besides the movie, I got a bunch of other things done this morning. Got a haircut, but the clippers the woman cutting my hair was using...I think they were diesel powered with a pull-string start. And it cut hair by ripping it out of my skull. Owie.

Also got a new keyboard, and it's all quiet and comfortable right now, which makes me happy. Also some extra disks, because I keep getting ideas, and I need space to save them on, especially at work.

We got dinner from the Cornucopia tonight. Mine came with soup, so I went with the New England Clam Chowder, and it just ruled. We have Oyster Crackers in the house, and the soup just worked, so I'm sitting here in utter bliss at the moment. My dinner, Sweet Cracker Chicken, I'm saving til later so I don't stuff myself and get sick. I think that's what happened last night.

How's This For An Unrelated Response?

Have you seen Megas XLR on Cartoon Network? I dig it. A fat idiot slacker from Jersey City finds a giant mecha at the dump, customizes it, installs a car for a head and then uses wrestling and video game moves to stomp bad guys with the help of his slacker idiot buddy and a warrior woman from the future. Good anime parody and stuff like that there.

I said it was an unrelated response.

Oh I dunno.

He has Oyster Crackers with his clam chowder and there's Sweet Cracker Chicken in the fridge, and Megas XLR is run by someone who is, arguably, a Car Customizin' Cracker.

I had not considered the cracker connection...

I watch it when I can. It makes me laugh.

Aaaaaugh.

Now I want clam chowder.

And everything that might possibly have it is closed.

*weep* :)

It makes me laugh as well, though I was wondering if that was Bruce Campbell playing the big headed alien fight promoter. Dang credits ran too fast.

Magnanimous? Yeah, I am damn sure that was Campbell. Usually, even though I have yet to check, IMDB.com is a good source to check. Voice actors for cartoons, you'd be surprised at who has voiced what.

Well, see, it looked like him, it sounded like him, and even said "groovy" at one point. And I'm not so surprised at some stuff anymore. Some folks have distinctive voices (like Michael Dorn).

I checked. It was Bruce Campbell. Figured as much, since his voice is recognizable like that.

Well, it's not like he accidentally flew into the Jersey City Gunpowder, Shrapnel, and Ball Bearing factory.

I wonder why I only got the e-mail notice to his response today (8/3/04)?
