dewingedWell, the game I had tonight was the2nd Ed converted to 3rd Ed D&D. It's cool, but I made a decision earlier in theafternoon that surprised some people. Once the current storyline/dungeon crawl is over, I'm switching characters. The Dwarf Fighter I play is cool, but after 2 1/2 years, and with everything else in my life, I need to change something. Been trying to think of something cool, since it's Forgotten realms and a high-powered game as it is. And, we're high enough level that a certain Half-Celestial template would be allowed (we have a half-elemental and a half-dragon in the party as it is).
Also, Rod asked me tonight if I wanted to take a hiatus from his game. Because of a lot of things, including the stuff that goes on in the game itself, I've been in a sour mood whenever that game meets to play. I've been...bored. Not into the character I'm playing, and I hate the other characters in the party, and the plot moves abominally slow. I'm going next week to see if I can stick it out, but maybe I should take a break from that game. In that 'wake me when it's interesting' sort of way.
