cassieclaire is starting to write LotR's very Secret Diaries again. Only 2 new ones, but my word, they're hysterical! :) I'm glad for the amusement.
The last few days have been relatively okay. The landlord finally put in the storm windows, and we didn't have to wait a long time since one of my windows needed to be special-ordered. There's a marked difference in my room now, and it's not freezing as much at night. Still, I'm not a big fan of winter, and we have what, another two months of this?
Though I doubt I'll say this again:
(I stagger out of my room in the morning to the bathroom to shower.)
Mom: How did you sleep?
Me: Cryogenically! *mutter grumble just woke up*
Working 11-7 tonight, which gives me some free time at work. I could work on an app I doubt I will ever actuaqlly submit, or go through the D&D 3rd Ed (Yes, I took it with me this morning!) PHB to look for more Dirty Spell Tricks. (Note: My two highest-level characters in current D&D games are a Sorceror and a Wizard, and I'm trying to prove to myself that I am relatively more intelligent than just blasting opponents with fireballs. Of course, the Sorceror character prefers lightning bolt, so I can't say I've arrived yet...)
Geez, good week. New news on the Harry Potter books, more Very Secret Diaries, and that Robert Jordan...uh oh. It came out. 2 weeks ago. And I forgot to order it from Amazon with a X-mas gift cert.
Ok, revising plans for when I go home, as of now. Need something new to read, anyway.
