dewingedOk, still blah. Trying to comfort myself, with marginal success.
I get paid tomorrow, and I know roughly how much is in my bank account, so I decided to try for some books yet. One isn't out yet, and Amazon hasn't even heard of some of the others. Guess I have to wait, but I want my next order to be a kicker. There's been some stuff I've been meaning to pick up. (Yes, raka, including Silver Spike.) I'm running out of books to read, which makes me not a happy camper, and I can only go through my 3rd Ed players handbook so many times before I get bored with it.
Went looking for a ROM. Ok, if some of the websites I have bookmarked don't have it, that means I have to go searching, which is like trying to find the proverbial needle, what with all the illegalities of getting game ROMs and such. But, happy little software pirate that I have managed to become, I tracked it down, DL'd it, and played it for about five minutes before adding it to my 'get to it someday' list. Somedays I get upset at my own inconsistencies with finishing stuff. I'll get to it...I think.
I game Friday, though late because I work late this week. Sunday I have a game I play with friends over AIM. Not AOL, but we use IM to create a private room, and it worked out well last time. I like playing Owyn, so far.
And, tomorrow's the last day before I go back to MUSHing, and I find myself asking if I want to go back. I have this mental picture of an 'In' box filled with stuff waiting for me when I do go back, which means that nothing changed while I was away. Damn.
