dewingedFor your information, I'm not really drunk. But that's the 'slightly disconnected from reality' feeling I have right now, which basically means I'm not getting enough sleep. I was up til 3:30-4:00 AM last night GMIng a long-awaited finale scene that went really, really well. :) I got a few surprised looks from dropping the final real secret I had going around the plot. :)
I don't talk about work much. Some of it's okay, but Gail who sits next to me is starting to piss me off. See, she reads cnn.com all day. Like when she shoukld be going to get orders like the rest of us. And she thrives on the bad news. The war, the hisdeous murder in Woodbridge Thursday...she has no problem reading it all right off the website for us.
I asked her at one point: Doesn't that site have any good news? Her answer: No.
Bitch.
Then she goes on: Oh, here's good news. Syria's decided to aid Iraq. See, Kyle, that's good news because people are /helping./
See why I hate people?
Truth is...I've been in a good mood for a few days now. A really good mood. And I feel like certain people are deliberately trying to bring it down. Selfish I know, because there's a lot going on in the world and I do worry for our people over there, but...and I understand the need to keep informed, but...there's a point where it gets overwhelming.
I won't let itm get me down through. Not now...
