Okay...hurricane/tropical storm tonight into tomorrow. Posting this now, just in case I don't show up online tonight.

I remember Gloria. It was really fun. We slept for like three days straight.

And then Bob? I was in Maine and we were evacuated into a shelter. All my friends were there and it was SO much fun.

Nothing happened to the house either time, but a big tree fell in my back yard.

I guess you get really lucky up north.

I hope your house/apartment is lucky!!!! And you get to have some sleepy fun, because we all need at least one day off. ;)

Who was a tropical storm still as she hit Tennessee. Lots of rain, lots of wind, and lightning riding the cable into the house and then jumping over to the phone lines, blowing out the computer.

A few years later, the guy who came to fix the cable (which had been wonky since then) asked what the burn mark on the side of the house was.... :-p
