Almost...

Ok, I have this Friday off, too. Bad thing is that I need to get my car looked at about 9 AM, to see what kind of repairs I need, and my insurance company only pays $15/day for rentals. And I have a feeling I'm going to need to rent a car this time. And since I've never had to rent a car, this is irritating. Considering May is problematic, money-wise, this just makes it more hectic.

Note. May for me: Mom's Birthday, Grandma's Birthday, Mother's Day, Brother's Anniversary, Nephew's Birthday, Godson's birthday, and I have another wedding next weekend. I have money, and that's on top of the Car Payment, Student Loans, Insurance, Rent, Cable, and my ISP bill at the end of the month. It's going to be tricky. I hope next week's paycheck will cover the last of the expenses.

Otherwise: New Comics. Good comics today. And, that necklace I won off E-bay came today. They sent it out from Cali on Monday. I'm in New Jersey. NICE shipment time. Now, I just need an occasion to wear it. Maybe Saturday. I wish...

Also, need new books to read. Recommend me, kids. :) Especially since I can't think of a new story idea to save my life.

ALso, to those who responded to my last LJ post...I wish I could put into words how much those comments meant. Thank you.

Mmm ... Hobb. And there's a new one out, starting the Tawny Man trilogy.

Anything by Neil Stephenson. Or Neil Gaiman. :)

Density of Souls was pretty good. It was solid, but I wasn't as enamoured with it as a lot of people seem to be. Enh. Maybe it's just me.

As I suddenly realize that I've been reading RPG books instead of novels for pleasure recently.... (Shadowforce Archer is a nice read, though I'm hoping to play/run a game at some point.)

By the by, she also writes under the pseudonym Megan Lindholme. Three books published so far, kinda Auel-ish, though. I've asked this and I'll ask it again: Is it just me or is Auel synonymous with caveman sex?
