Yay! 4 days vacation! Now, I just have to figure out what to do with myself.

Odd thing...I thought X-2 was out on DVD, but I don't see it in stores. Am I wrong?

BNL...when is their next album out? I think I heard a new single by them, but I'm not sure.

X2 comes out November 25th, mebbe you thought it was October? :)

I think that was the case. Well...okay, bright side, I have something to occupy my mind for Thanksgiving, then? :)

Yeah, BNL has a new song out about Monkeys.

And according to my Media-Play store, X-2 will be out, as the previous poster said -- in Nov.

Ah, okay, Novemember it is. (And the Hulk is already out. What does that say about the movies?)

And, I might check out the new BNL CD, if there is one yet. But the last one, 'Maroon' left me cold, so I'm skittish.

X2 Still Coming

Yes, X2 isn't out until next month. The Hulk is available now. Perhaps that is what you were thinking of.

That might have been it. I really coulda sworn it was OCtober. C'est la vie.

And the Hulk...nah. See, I was never big on the character while reading comics. A movie doesn't grab my attention. Daredevil barely did, X-Men had me a lot more hooked.

Not Easy Being Green

Well, I'll go on record saying I really enjoyed The Hulk. But I could easily see why others wouldn't. It had a slower than usual pace for the genre.

Surprisingly, my brother, who extolls the virtues of the "Jackass" movie, also really enjoyed The Hulk. Go figure. He wouldn't sit through more than 15 minutes of Clockwork Orange.

I haven't seen the Hulk yet, so I cannot judge in truth. Jack...what? ;)

And Clockwork Orange kicked. Can only sit through it once, but it kicked.

I was surporised. I figured the high amounts of violence and naked women would be enough for him.

Actually, the better movies do at the box office, the later they come out. Hulk didn't...do all that well. :)

That was pretty much what I was thinking. :)

Is it better than Maroon?

It's different from Maroon. The first listen, it seems mellow, then you realize how twitchy a lot of the songs are. And then you wonder why the centerpiece of the record is long and depressing, and then you listen again and then you realize, oh, that's why. Of course, this is already after you play the chimps song to death, and memorize the blue-grass sounding one, and swear to put "Shopping" (which features the Blue Man Group, but you have to read the album fine print) onto every single mix CD you give away this year...

yeah, it's pretty okay. It's no Born On A Pirate Ship, but then again, what is?

Gordon lacks Native American chant! Although it does have Andy scatting. Hm. I need think time. *ponders*

I assume that you do have the Brothers Creeggan records. If not, get Trunks first, 'cos it's excellent.

Okay. Jim and Andrew Creeggan of Barenaked Ladies also do nifty folk-jazz records as a side project. Trunks is the best of the four Brothers Creeggan albums, in my opinion. It's required listening. Seriously.

How absolutely odd. X2 has been out in Japan for over a month. I figured it must have released in the US before that, since that's usually how these things work.

Ugh. :( Darn, I have the week off and wanted to crash and watch it. :)
