dewingedOn Friday, before I went home sick from gaming due to too much pizza, I found out from Eric that AMi invited me to a new D&D campaign this Sunday afternoon, at Brian's. That was very nice of Ami, and after hearing it's meant to be an Epic level campaign, I accepted. I like the variety.
Ami's parameters. Stat buy system, 50 points. Start at 16th level, with 520,000 gold to but Stuff with.
And, we make 2 characters, to interchange as we wish. Also cool.
My characters:
Cowan Dusayne: Half Elf Ranger 1/Sorceror 1/Fighter 4/Deepwood Sniper 5/Arcane Archer 5 And he's just terrifying with the +3 Mighty (+4) COmposite Longbow of Distance and Speed he's carrying with his 32 Dex score.
Girrak Hammerhaven: Dwarf Cleric 10/Contemplative 6. That Armor with the SR 19 is going to come in handy, I tell you. And the Mace of Disruption +4, and the 31 Wis score, which gives him mad spells as a 16th level Cleric. And the Mysticism and Creation Domains. Purrr.
On top of /that/ I finished an app for another MUSH today, of an idea I've had bouncing around for a while now, which I got back to and updated for the group I wanted to join. And the players OOCly like me, apparently. I spent a lot of free time from 6-8 at work last night doing a Kick-Ass BG.
So now I'm feeling really up from doing all this. I even took a break and went to the store to hang out, and bought a book I might need for yet another MU. I've been wondering, now, as I start to wind down, is that if it is healthy for creating things, even imaginary characters and such, to give me such a confidence/energy boost? Now, I feel great, especially after feeling heart-dead and broken-souled for a good chunk of yesterday.
But still, I'm looking forward to this.
