May. 24th, 2004 10:12 pmOkay, I'll need to pick up some things soon.
1) Shrek 2 soundtrack. If only for the bonus track. Wow.
2) Bond's next album. Eeeee! *fanboydance*
3) Okay...I don't read Batman comics (not that much money, and I spend enough on comics in a month as it is), and I despise Jeph Loeb (Don't get me started). But...the one story I keep hearing abour is Hush. Is there an affordable TPB, is it accessible to people who don't know the really really fine print on Batman, and is it good at all?

Date: 2004-05-25 11:00 am (UTC)The plot is...thin. This being Jeph Loeb, he sets up a 'mystery' that isn't solvable by the clues, and there are some dubious bits...but for the most part the characterization is okay.
I refer to it as 'the prettiest AU'; lots of sound and fury, signifying not-very-much in the long term. But it really is worth looking at, at least. ;) I'd suggest taking a skim through at some bookstore that doesn't prohibit loitering first.
