Emma: Superpowers, a scintillating wit, and the best body money can buy...and I still rate below a corpse.

Gee, Emma. Do you think the fact that you SEDUCED SOMEONE ELSE'S HUSBAND might have anything to do with that? Or than you INVITED him to your BED before Jean's dead body was even cold?

Ya think? It's called 'cause and effect,' bitch.

Of course, to be fair, Scott's not off the hook. Because, you know, PLAYING TONSIL TANGO with the resident X-Slut while STANDING on the GRAVE of your WIFE who WAS NOT DEAD EVEN SIX MONTHS is just SO classy!

Then again, he left Maddy, too. Can't forget that, now.

See, the thing is...if Scott/Emma developed to some point 2-3 years after Jean's current death, more of the other characters would have accepted it. But six months, and those two are so shocked everyone's reacting badly. A-DUH.

Okay, rant mode off.

Scott's an asshole. Remember how he was flirting with Psylocke?

Hmm. Maybe he just has a THING for telepaths. Scott's kinky!

Wasn't that due to the fact Psylocke was influencing his lust?

But yeah, Scott's acting rather poorly in regards to Emma.

*dude, one of my fave webcomic characters responded. Awesome* (kidding) ;)

I think you're right about Psylocke. Wasn't that early on in the Lee/Claremont 2nd X-Men series...which became New X-Men, which is now plain X-men again?

And Scott doesn't seem to be treating Emma badly...but the timing, that's what seems to be pissing folks off.

Actually, see late-teens to early-20's X-Men under Nicienza and Kubert :) And it was partly due to the Kwannon influences in Psylocke's mind..

That's what I'm talking about. Oh, and Elsewhere?

...my eyes are up here.

Maybe. I never said Scott was blameless. :) Though, Psylocke...I think she was messing with his mind for kicks, I dunno. I might be wrong.

Well, apparently, the creator of "Buffy" understands the concept of "appropriate behavior" better than some anarchistic Scotsman. Who knew? Besides anyone with half a neuron?
