Still sick, but at work. I was up half the night, but when my alram finally went off, I actualy felt not all that sucky. I still don't, but I'm going to take it easy again.

Not sure if I can go home. I wish I could. Would sleep more.

Now, can someone explain this Free Ipod thing, and if it's worth it to get one?

You sign up and fill out one of the offers. The easiest one is eBay. You follow through their link. You set up an account with a throwaway email address. Once you've completed it, get five people to do the same, and you get a free ipod.

I have 3 people who've filled out mine, so I need two more.

It's a pyramid scam, guys.

At least it's not stealing directly from anyone except the people who are offering the freebies... until they run out. Then there will be a lot of people who think they're entitled to a free ipod who won't get one.

What proof? It's prima facie obvious, if you sign up five people you get a free iPod, they each have to sign up five people to get theirs, and so forth, that's a classic Pyramid.

The advertising budget for the people who are providing these promotional freebies is going to provide a finite number of iPods. There is nothing in their wording that guarantees you will get one, either.

So, like the classic pyramids, the first 10 or so tiers of the pyramid get theirs. Everyone else will be disappointed when it collapses.
