Ok, for someone who doesn't like pro sports all that much, and is bloody well sick to death of Scooby Doo on Cartoon Network all the time, Sunday afternoons tend to be very sedate, quite, and oh, so boring. And, naturally, the local McDonald's got my order right for McI-can't-believe-it's-not-chicken-because-it-probably-isn't-nuggets. But, no sauce. Didn't even ask. Bah.

So, I'm roleplaying, natch. On at least one MUSH, when I kinda belong to several. I don't RP everywhere all the time, and since I work I can't be on eighteen hours at a clip, but I go and try to have fun.

My question being, am I having fun any more? I can't answer yes for sure, and that's part of the core of my stress.

But, this is supposed to be fun, and Raka has ordered me to entertain him with this, so I need to try something.

Ok, something I did overnight. Set up my comp to be online, and downloaded most of Denis Leary's No Cure for Cancer on mp3. 44 megs. Sheesh. But, it's funny, and it got me thinking.

I remember listening to No Cure for the first time in college, with my sophomore roommate, and we laughed ourselves to the point where neither of us could breathe. It was a cool memory.

Though, no comedian does that anymore. Album/CDs of their standup. Eddie Murphy used to have 'Delirious' back in the 80s, and that was a classic. (And Eddie Murphy: Raw sucked for the most part, but that's not the issue.) But, yo, I can't remember the last time I've seen anyone do standup, let alone put out a CD. IS there a downward turn in popular stand-up comics, or is there just no money in it, or what?

Hell, I'd buy that before that piece of crap Afroman song. I seriously question my peers when that load of monkey crap is a #1 song. I'm not even sure if it's an honest anti-drug message, or a joke about the drug war or something.

Sad, because I liked Jay and Silent Bob strike back.

But, that's all I can think of right now. Work on this later.

Keep updating! ;)

Also, check out Bill Hicks' collected works. Funny, funny guy.

--I have the mp3 of that song, and... *shrug*... it made me laugh. And as any ragabash knows, laughter is a precious thing. Nothin else to it. It's not anywhere near any of my favourite songs, and I wouldn't by any means call it a #1 song... but it made me laugh. Hell, "Dumb and Dumber" made me laugh, and we all know it was crappy.

Well, I don't think it's a #1 song either, Rae, but the local radio stations by me have top 10 lists every say, and it's been up there for two weeks. Yeesh.

And I play a Ragabash. Actually, I play one who would take that song as his personal Anthem, if Offspring's "Original Prankster" didn't appear first. :)
