*yawn* Morning. Smallville rocked, comics rocked, Yankees lost and I'm mad only for the reason that I'm going to have to listen to the Prole Patrol at work discuss it for hours today, and 'll have to hear Dad all winter about it.

Yeah, cause, you know, the Yankees never win...

They should try having the Phillies for their hometown team.

Yawn is right - at least about sports. ;)

Smallville was very cool. I loved how Bart:
Used every Flash alias in his fake IDs (Jay Garret, Wally West, Barry Allen).
TOTALLY dissed Clark with water running and at the end with the 'catch me if you can' challenge. That was sweet.

www.kryptonsite.com speculates that there might be a Flash spinoff thanks to Bart's appearance in Smallville, might be neat. :)

You have seen the new Superman movie news?

To paraphrase from PVP:

1) Bryan Singer pitched his idea for the movie to original Superman director Richard Donner before pitching it to Warners. He got approval from the man who's film Superman vision he respected most before getting approval from the studio.

2) Bryan has cast an unknown to play Superman. They didn't go with some big name actor "just because." And the actor, Brandon Routh, is from Des Moines, Iowa. The guy's FROM Smallville.

3) When asked if he would be using the John Williams' Superman theme in the new movie, Singer replyed clearly and boldy "Yes! Definitely Yes."

Sweet! :)

I'm not familiar with PVP unless it means player vs. player. Where did you see this information? :)

Thanks. :) Neat article...exciting news. :) I'm still waiting for Dean Cain and Terri Hatcher to make appearances in Smallville. I mean lets list all the homages:

* Doctor Swann was Christopher Reeve (Still bummed he died :/ ).
* Bridgette Crosby is played by Margot Kidder
* The voice of Jor-El is Terrence Stamp, who played General Zod
* Martha Kent is played by the movies Lana Lang, Annette O'Toole.

Did I miss any?

No kidding!

I just can't get over who Duela killed. I mean, Bette obviously but Alfred? Alfred?!?!

Both of them together... And the fact that she mentioend Bette specifically makes me wonder if she meant something to Tim and if so.... What?
