Quiet for now.

dewingedSo I talked to the insurance company, again. They did an appraisal, and told me how much my car was worth, based on the market, ect. I will have to subtract from that how much I owe on the car. This leaves me with...a nice chunk of change. Which, of course, is going to pay off some fees I need to pay off, and for the down payment for something new. That, I hope to do this weekend or something, with my brother. (Granted, he's going to browbeat me into trying to get something I don't want. It's his way.) Maybe if I have enough left, I'll end up springing for a PS2, which I've been wanting for a few reasons (namely Kingdom Hearts, Suikoden 3, and a DVD player in my room) But that's not a pertinent need right now. I'll probably stop by the dealership tonight and clean out my car (and get my house key back, whilst I'm at it).
I'm a little wiped yet. STayed up RPing last night, since I got involved in two scenes, and neither really started until 10 PM my time. Considering when I got home, this left me a lot of time doing little but waiting for people to show (or NOT show, in some cases). That'll rip at anyone's feelings of usefulness, right there. On one place (MXT. Not Alpha. I adore everyone at Alpha. Almost.), I'm on a team. And, there's one person who's kinda-sorta on the team. And I can't bloody stand her. I've opted out of scenes because she's in them, and almost every scene I've done there, one of her alts drops in. Not all, but almost. And she NEVER leaves. I mean, ever. She just won't go away. But, for some reason, she'll prolly end up as a permanent part of the team, despite this. Bah, I say.
Yeah, I'm kvetching, I know. Just that I want to have a good time, and things get spoiled. I want to do something RPable tonight, though I need to start early, so I can get some realistic sleep for once. Last night's scenes were pretty good, though one was cut short due to a plot fight. It happens. Just wish it would happen earlier for once. I walked away from one place because everything revolved around starting scenes-meetings-fights at 9:30-10 PM my time (EST), which, while accomidating for West Coast folks, screws the East Coast folks over unfairly, since there's no balance for us, because we live in a later time zone.
