Contentment.

dewingedOk, the insurance is over and done with, things I need to send out (including bills) have been sent out, and Labor Day weekend is over. DId I do much? Not really, in comparison to some, but I did get the laundry done, caught up on mad sleep, and found myself happy for most of it.
One: I need to remind myself to burn a few CDs. I have one in the car, and while I like the songs, I need just a wee bit more variety. I work 11-7 today, and this week, and I'm off Friday, so I'd have to squeeze the time in.
And it's been cool. I've been happy lately. Not that much has really changed except and alleviation of the financial stress I put myself through, but still. I let my thoughts wander, and I come back and find myself smiling. I wish it would last longer than it will end up lasting, but I wonder how much of sustaining that will be my own effort.
But it's a neat feeling, nonetheless. It's a free feeling, and I'm letting it carry me through the workday if I can manage it. The late shift sometimes gets to me. But no biggie.
