Ok, guys. This is a minor call for help on my part, and of no real earth-shattering consequence. Just that I'm sitting in the library at work, bored out of my skull before my shift starts at 10, reading through my 3rd Ed Player's Handbook for the ten-thousandth time. Let me explain the sitch:

George R. R. Martin, on his website, has a message to not ask when the next book in his 'Song of Ice and Fire' series is coming out. The prospects sppear to say next March. His last book for it came out in November, 2000.

Robert Jordan, in my fervent prayers for him to actually move his plot forward for theb 'Wheel of Time' series, I think his next book is this November.

On the radio this morning, the publishers announced there is no release date set yet for J.K. Rowling's next Harry Potter book, since the publishers haven't seen it yet. The last book came out sometime in 2000, I forget when exactly. (She's too busy with the damn movies to get working, apparently.) By this point, I'm ready to fly out to England to kick butt over the wait time. (Well, that, and I can visit TsunamiUK at the same time, which is not a bad prospect at all.)

So, the gist of this? I'm out of stuff to read. Suggestions, anyone?

Have I recc'd you the Wraeththu trilogy by Storm Constantine yet?

I'm currently reading "Sir Apropos of Nothing" by Peter David. Good for punny humour.

Try some Melanie Rawn stuff, if you have time. Stick with the Dragon Prince and Dragon Star trilogies. She hasn't finished the Exiles series yet, and who know when she's going to get around to that!

Oh, and please tell me, you've read "MISTS OF AVALON." If you haven't, march over ot your local library and take it out right now!

Enjoy!
