I've been having thoughts all over the place tonight, while waiting on RP. One scene is planned, the other...is one I'm hoping for if the people involved log on. I trust.
But, I've just been wanting to get as many random thoughts off my chest, so I might keep the LJ window open and hammer them out as I go along.
Here's one: I don't have a credit card. I have a debit card, which takes money right out of my checking account. Now, my credit rating is imperfect, mostly due to student loans and one previous credit card used in college and a lack of enough of a job to pay it off all the time. Now, car payments, no matter how timely, don't change the credit rating. So, I've been considering actually getting a real credit card, making a purchase or two and pay it off that way, even if I have the money right now to pay it all.
And, to use as my primary example of this: I have the money. And, for a lot of reasons, I would like a Playstation 2 very much. I can afford it, tomorrow if I so felt like it. (I never thought I'd be so happy my car got flooded out, but...well, when in Rome, I suppose). And
raka talking about Kingdom Hearts isn't helping. Square (Makers of Final Fantasy and Chrono Cross), and Disney mixed...it really is too cool to pass up. And there will be a Suikoden 3, I'm positive. And maybe a sequel to Chrono Cross.... And, most important for me: A DVD player. And the LotR Special Edition coming in November.
So, should I do it? I'd love a better credit rating.
