Dec. 7th, 2002 09:49 amWell, the MUSH problem I talked about the other day has been dealt with. Mostly. Note: If I am asked to make a decision, and I make one, do not argue the decision. I get that at work all the time, and I dislike it there, too. Mostly because it makes me feel like my word isn't good enough, or that I can be browbeaten into submission. *wicked grin* Sic 'em, Staffers, sic 'em! ;)
Though, I'll be taking a short vaca from my characters after Sunday Night. The scheduled Move is next Saturday, and I need to pack up my gear. If everything goes right, I should be back in business next Saturday night. I hope.
Cool game last night. Cool game tonight, but mostly because one of the Brats won't eb there. See...this game is at the Store. And John, our GM, originally held the game so some of the kids (early teens) who hang out there could learn D&D by way of us older kids. There's two in the game. One never finds his character sheet, and is very disorganized. The other, who won't be there, is...irritating.
Let me pull out the quote from this kid: Yeah, this one friend I have, he got some operation and he lost his sight for a few days. So, we all went over there and were kicking him and pushing him around, it was so cool.
It took everything I had not to just scream at him across the table. "You little skidmark, what the fuck is WRONG with you?"
But, I'll discuss that with my GM, since I feel the presence of the little guys takes away from the game. Of course, it's not like there's a lot of people my own age that hang out there much anymore. Haven't seen that Michael guy in months, even though the store owners (Bob and Christine) are throwing another party early next year. Not that I think anything will happen, for a number of reasons. When/if it comes around, I'll be on here asking for advice, no doubt.
No biggie. But, just put the towels in the dryer, and I need some more sleep before I start today's stuff.
