Ok, so as I promised, I went down to the store yesterday. When I got there, Bob and Christine said that their friend Sal just called, and he and his group of friends would be at the store that day. Michael is in that group, so Christine was happy. But, alas, they didn't show, so I really couldn't do much since, well, obvious reasons.

I don't even think I'm upset about it. I mean, it wasn't my fault, or anyone else's. Played a few games, liked and didn't like some, and bought a new book. Nothing major, and I can say I technically didn't lose my nerve.

But, still, yo, I was hoping. I mean, there will come a time where we'll run into each other again. Just need to wait.

See, that's the thing. I was putting myself through the mental wringer all week, and now I have to wait another 1-2 weeks before I can try again. (I game next Saturday, and as much as I'd like to ditch, my character's presence is pretty important this time.) It's the waiting. The questions not yet answered.

Damn.
